Majlis Bersama rakyat 2024m

UNITED KINGDOM, THURSDAY, 30/01/2025 - The much-anticipated event of the year Majlis Bersama Rakyat made its grand return on 22nd of December 2024. The event which was held at Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, was attended by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam along with Prince Malik and Prince Abdul Mateen with Princess Anisha. 

Once again, the Brunei Religious Officer Student Association (BruROSA) was granted the honor of organizing the performance in this remarkable event which featured a heartfelt Quran recitation with its translation along with nasheed performance by volunteers of Bruneian students from the UK and Éire and children of Bruneian officers in the UK and Éire.

The event was commenced by the National Anthem to welcome the presence of the royal family and the recitation of verse 1-12 of Surah Al-Mulk by Muhammad Nabil Syahmi bin Norman from University of Highlands and Islands, Perth, Scotland as well as the narrations of the morals and significance of the verses by Muhammad Meerza Helmi Uzapuspa from Imperial College London. 

The recited verses vividly illustrate the absolute power of Allah SWT, emphasizing the vastness and intricate design of His creation. The verses also highlight aspects of the universe that serve as evident signs of His divine wisdom and unmatched ability to create, inviting us to reflect on His greatness.

Majlis Bersama Rakyat was finally concluded with the nasheed performance titled Hikmah Hijrah and Selawat Tafrijiyyah. The enthusiastic participation of the children in the performance, along with the lively voices of the volunteers, infused the event with delight and created a memorable experience for all attendees.
